The First Recording of the House of Karu dates back to the days of the Siege of Thentis and holds a story often told about an injured Koroban, a fierce Warrior of the House of Basarab, Ambras the Impaler, who suffered many grave injuries were brought to the infirmary of the House of Karu. Though a fallen and hated enemy from Ko-ro-ba, the Father of the House declined that the great and honorable Warrior be show other than respect. The legend is one of love against impossible odds and finds enemies united in love and prosperity
Most records will state that the House of Karu is of the Caste of Merchants, dealing in exotic wares as lotions, ointments and perfumes, and have been responsible for several crews gathering flowers, herbs, leaves and roots in the Northern Forests and on the sides and in the valleys of the Thentis Mountains
